THIS PAGE IS ALL ABOUT,
HOW I WAS INTRODUCED,
TO THE R N D AND THE, JOURNEY IVE BEEN ON, SINCE THAT DAY IN 2012.
One fatefull day in nov 2012 I was taken to a cemetery on the somme ,
and told " theres a few navy men buried here,
they fought here " and that was the start of my association with the R N D,
the cemetery was the "ANCRE VALLEY CEMETERY

The reason the lads of the R N D are so important, to me is a very personal one!
the R N D divisions were made up from,
Reservists from the Royal Naval voulonteer Reserve,
and the Royal Naval Reserve,
i am EX R N R !,
These brave men WERE MY FORBEARS,
MY PREDECESSERS,
I OWE THEM EVERYTHING !!
WITHOUT THEM" I WOULDNT BE HERE"
through photos and text in the following, chapters I will try to tell their story ,
every one knows about the army the R F C,
etc, but most peoples knowledge concerning the navy in ww1, is "jutland" or jack Cornwell"if they remember anything at all,
i intend to change that !!
and tell the story of the R N D ,
FROM their first faltering steps ,
to Gallipoli , and the battle of the somme!
yes" the naval division fought there !!!"
and beyond to let people know, about the R N D and their short but illustrious,
