SUBSTANTIAL NUMBERS OF THEM WERE MEN OF THE ROYAL NAVAL DIVISIONS,

THE SHROUDED FIGURE ON THE LEFT REPRESENTS THE RND

KILLED THAT DAY,,

BUT IT ALSO STANDS AS A STARK REMINDER OF THE VALUABLE CONTRIBUTION

THAT THE MEN OF THE,

ROYAL NAVAL DIVISIONS MADE DURING THE GREAT WAR.

11.379 WERE KILLED 30.892 WERE WOUNDED, THOSE FIGURES REPRESENT A CONSIDERABLE PORTION OF THE 125.000  PERSONNEL THAT PASSED THROUGH THE FORMATIONS IN THE GREAT WAR
