As the title above states these are, RND sample cards for badges ,these are war ministry patterns for ,

metal and cloth badges , they are sealed on the rear of,

the cards with a red wax seal, the ministry would send out designs to contractors , who would manufacture the badges ,and these are the proofs , and they are sealed to make them tamper proof? The images below are enlarged so as to allow the viewer to to see all ,

the smallest details, the cards are full of details such as who signed off on the badges, & their intended uses,

take the 1st badge for instance  ive seen it described as collar badges or shoulder titles , on the card it does,

show the original intended use as cap badge ,

so with the sample card we have the irrefutable proof badge sample d,

the first 2 sample cards are 5x9 inches,

the 3rd one being the cloth sample card is 7x9 inches
